Is the Moonroof / Sunroof delete an option?

I was told by my local Lexus dealer that Lexus is not making ANY Overtrail 550's with the moonroof delete as an option.

If anyone can confirm an Overtrail 550 being delivered without the moonroof, please post. Thanks!

I have been looking and was told the same thing. I haven't found one anywhere with that spec. I have given up on a moonroof delete, if it by some miracle happens I will be thrilled.

I put in a $3k deposit for building a 2025 OT with the Delete Moonroof option. My Dealer showed me another build they did for a 2025 OT+ with that also. A big caveat is I do not have my OT yet and who knows if they will follow through on that, but Dealer told me the build spec was confirmed with Lexus and it when through. Time will tell, like in about 3 months or so.

I keep getting told that we cannot specify a build order for any Lexus.

Same from my dealer. My OT should be here next week and will have the sunroof. I can live with that but would have gone no moonroof if I could have.

My dealer told me that you don’t “order” lexus/toyotas, but rather cars become available and if one matches your ideal config, they call with an offer to immediately deposit/commit. Quite different that other mfgs (e.g. Porsche) where you can customize hundreds of things, and track the build. So I suspect if you want a moonroof delete and your dealer sees one like that become available, they’ll give you a call. If you miss the call, you’ll get skipped over, at least that’s how my dealer works.

Same here, tell them what you want and they’ll let you know what’s coming in the next month or two. No ordering and frankly they don’t even know what’s coming until they get their allocation.

Correct, that was my roof after I removed the factory roof rack rails to get ready for the Westcott rack.

I told my dealer what I was looking for and when one became available close to what I wanted they called me. Got it last month.
