Bill, do you have a pic of the interior roof? Curious if deleted sunroof changes the ceiling ie more headroom…

Lexus spec sheet says it does. Interior pictures would be cool to see though.

I've heard of people doing inventory searches- are they doing that at a dealership, or is there a way for us to do it, online? I've tried to do a build on lexus.com with the moonroof delete option, but the details for the individual results all (at least the dozens that I looked at) show a moonroof listed in the description. Any suggestions?

I just picked a few zip Codes on Lexus.com. Searched at 500 miles. Sort by lowest price for OT. Looked at individual builds and couldn't find anything with moonroof delete. Was told by dealership they had only gotten one allocation last summer without a moonroof.

As a start, go to Lexus.com and build the GX you want. At the bottom of the page you will see "View Inventory" and "Finish Build". You can view the inventory up to 500 miles away. I just tried it without the moonroof and it threw up several options but all had the moonroof.

I've done that, thanks. A bunch of the results do not show the moonroof listed in the description, but when you view the link for the window sticker, it is listed on that.

Side note- I've gone through the purchase process for Rivian, and it was painless. Borderline pleasant. Assuming Tesla is similar? Reading the frustration on this website, as well as in my own search, I've realized how big of a scam car dealerships are; middlemen who create more frustration, as well as cost, in a car buying process...
