I did not investigate but the Land Cruiser comes a smaller rack which seen on trucks around town. Should fit the GX as well.

I would suggest popping out the switch to tilt the sunroof and disconnecting it in case a valet, or someone else driving your vehicle decides to push it.

Mine was an aftermarket rack, full length but the tilt still cleared all of the cross members.

Good idea. I’ve tested it and the sunroof simply stops when it meets the crossbar. Another press closes it with no damage.

How is the wind noise on the sherpa?

Much better than the stock rack that I didn’t want but came with the GX. At the end of the day I find the GX noisy overall. It is literally a rolling brick…

Thanks for the info! I’m in Colorado so I’m leaning for the local brand over Westcott. Nothing against Westcott, I just like the idea of supporting some local Coloradans.

Anyone have experience with the Prinsu pro rack. How is the noise level?
Was it port installed by the dealer and at what cost?
Would you recommend it?
