Good point.
At 32000 miles I’ve had like 9 oil and filter changes. Each time I specifically order a lube job on all the chassis lubrication points, and I make sure the job is listed on my work order receipts.
I can’t say with certainty that routine lubrication service has helped avoid any weird noises, shifting oddities, etc..but in light of the fairly hard driving I do on torn up roads, towing with the cargo area heavily loaded, etc..it’s probably a good idea.
So far my GX is very quiet, smooth, shifts like a champ, races up and down mt passes, and tows very well. And I certainly don’t baby it.
