I’ve added the NYTOP front bull bar (prototype) they’re starting production now. And front window tint is from Ultravision that I think looks awesome. Of course the Westcott designs collar lift and 35’s with more to come…

is it just me or does the truck seem really low to the ground even with a 2.5" lift on 35s?
looks like every tacoma is so much higher off the ground even with 33s.
is it just perspective / long nose / low hanging side steps or am I missing something?

Looks cool Jonathan 👍🏽…. As I shared with YL… If you go crawling where you need a better approach angle the bull bar can always come off. (Just like adding rock rails) … if the car is your daily driver, you can put the rails on when you need them. (Like before a serious off road trip where clearance, approach, departure and crest angles matter.)

Congrats on the new GX and your aesthetic adds 👍🏽👍🏽🙂

I agree - removing the running boards makes the truck look a lot higher as well. The Lux+ with its retractable running boards always looks much more lifted than an overtrail ironically.

I feel the same way as Jonathan - I have my share of toys - but this one was special and because of that excitement (I too “love this thing more every day”) and was thus drawn to this forum and getting to know some of its members.

It’s not perfect … but if Toyota pays attention to its customers… the next generations of GX will get closer to that mark!

Again welcome to the forum Jonathan, there is a broad spectrum of people here, so a lot of experience to draw from. (And fully expect some polite disagreement or critique 🤨).

For me these last few months of OT plus ownership have been a very fun and humble learning process.

For me there are two groups of people I relish watching do their job … literally like a kid watching ice cream getting scooped: 1. Mechanics, and 2. Specialized surgeons (with skills that surpass my own wheel house.)

If you come through SLO - DM me and we can connect and admire one another’s rigs … I noticed the red calipers … is that something you did aftermarket ?? (Powdercoated?)
