The deionizer is from CR Spotless, its model DIW-20. It is a game changer for sure. I went with CR because they have a rein exchange program, which is fantastic. Oh and the "integrated Resin Bypass" option, so you are not connecting/disconnecting the hose every time. A few things, I am a huge fan of ceramic coatings, professionally applied and PPF the hood/fenders/mirrors at a minimum. I had Feynlab Ceramic applied to my C8 2 years ago, the GX was done 6 mo ago. For PPF I really like Xpel, its treated me well. When I got my GX the dealer installed 3M on the hood, looked like orange peel and had to go. Here is my routine with all that said -
1. Pressure rinse entire car with regular water
2. Apply Griots wheel cleaner, then pressure wash
3. Foam cannon with Griots car wash or Adams, I like the Adams better
4. Sponge only where necessary
5. Rinse soap, again, only normal water
6. Foam cannon #2, with Griots Foaming Polygloss
7. Rinse with pressure washer, normal water
8. Go to the deionizer, mover the Bypass Lever to deionized. Rinse car one more time with the deionized water
9. Get the MetroVac and blow the water off, or use a leaf blower.
10. Spot dry where needed with a Griots Drying Towel.
Note: MetroVac is fantastic, does a great job as a blower and vacuum.
With my setup, to include vacuuming the car takes about 45 min, which includes cleaning the cannons, organizing, etc.
Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
