Late introduction - new GX OT+

Lol bic jet - first off, congratulations on your inbound rig. Aren’t you too busy planning your build to crack jokes? :D
Actually, mine is no longer on the way. I changed colors to Nori Green, so now I am little further back on the list. I know, just like a school girl changing her mind again and again! Nori Green, FINAL ANSWER.

Additional update pics, pickup is next week, I am excited

Just brought her home. Unfortunate that the entire freeway network in the Bay Area was an utter disaster, but the silver lining is I got to spend extra time in the new rig. I’ll do a more detailed write up tomorrow, but I’ll share a pic of the finished product and say I am ecstatic with how it turned out. All the credit to Dissent Offroad, what an outstanding company and group of people. Really tempted to buy a Tacoma this weekend lol. Outside of the minor noise that accompanies portal axles + additional road noise with larger tires, I think the driving experience is much better, and I can’t wait to run it through its paces offroad.

Agreed on the bumpers. I need front and rear bumpers from Dissent now that I am sporting 35's!!

Any further report on the portals? Looking for further feedback from those with the GX.

Sorry for the late reply. It’s still a joy to drive. The additional feedback from the portal axles (noise and steering wheel) you stop noticing. I do prefer the handling of the vehicle after the mods, better than oem due to width increase. Paying nearly 7/gal at 11mpg sucks but that’s what I get.

Truck is still too new, but outside of oil changes the dealer will be of zero assistance given the mods.

Bottom line, still love it, zero regrets

Ps. Still have oem rock sliders I’ll give away for free to any norcal locals.

And how the heck did I never win GX of the month!? Rigged!

Thank you for your report. Good to hear that there are no regrets.
