Hello all!
I am new to the forum, new to the Lexus GX. Back in the day I had a FJ62 which was purchased new by my parents in 1987, gifted to me in high school, and carried me for many many miles and many many years before the north east rust monster got the best of her and my wallet’s ability to address it.
Purchased a ‘26 L+. Vehicle will not be a primary off road or overland vehicle (I have a heavily modified Silverado for that), although it will see a decent amount of time on dirt roads (I live on one) and fire roads, but as my daily driver will also spend most of its time on pavement.
I do not plan to mod extensively, however I would like to put some proper shoes on her (which to me means going from 22” -> 20” wheels with 275/60R20).
I have searched the forum a bit, but have not had much success in finding info on manufacturers who make a 20” / 8 - 9” / + 25 - 35 wheel that will maintain an OEM plus type stance and keep the tires under the fenders. Any direction would be most appreciated.
Thank you in advance. Hopefully some day I will have some knowledge to contribute back.
