I started my 24 OT in the morning a few days ago and the meter displayed only 3 things. A small digital Mph, fuel, and engine temp. That was it. I drove 20 miles like that. When I got to my destination I turned off the car, waited a few minutes and restarted. It was the same. Later I went to lunch and it was the same. I tried changing the meter functions but nothing but the same 3 things only displayed.
When I drove home from work everything was back to normal.
I opened the Lexus app and it has a message under maintenance stating that there is a recall for this problem and I will be notified when there is a fix. Meanwhile it says it to be aware that it could be unsafe to drive because of this problem.
It seems to me that the vehicle reports problems to Lexus otherwise how did Lexus know that this problem occured on my vehicle?
