Where do I start...
I always liked NYTOP's front bumper. For someone that doesn't offroad, IMO it's the best looking and most subtle "urban" armor for our GX's. Coupled with their cool marketing, I set my sights on buying one. When "Black Friday" rolled around, I saw that they had it on sale so I ordered one. When the box arrived, it was very well packaged but things turned south when I started to unpack each piece.
Based on their marketing, I assumed these were nicely manufactured pieces but as you can see in the pics, the welds are not clean, also some areas, you can see remnants of the welds on the "other side" as if it burned through, and there are also pitting in the metal.

I reached out to NYTOP and expressed my shock and disappointment. To their credit, they responded very quickly and professionally. They said the welds passed their QC standards but offered to pay to have it locally powdercoated in hopes of making it look better.
Since returning was not an option, I accepted and with that out of the way, I proceeded to DIY install. The package comes with very detailed instructions but by far, the hardest part of taking off the oem lower bumper is popping off the white nylon clips holding the lower valance. I know shops have taken off the whole front bumper but I will attest that it is possible to take off the nylon clips with the bumper on... it just takes small hands, a couple of very long flat screwdrivers and patience. I think that part alone took me an (frustating) hour.
The NYTOP bumper comes in three main pieces. Center and two wings (passenger and drivers). Overall, the center piece and the driver side fits fine. Everything bolts up and the side sits flush with the wheel well.
However, there were the two problems. 1) The passenger side wing - for some reason, it will not sit flush with the passenger wheel well and would stick out about 1/4 inch. 2) the fog light bolt mounting points only allowed the fog lights to sort of sit flush with the angle of the wings...which means the fog lights would be pointing to the sides of the road and not straight ahead.
(I know this is the driver side but for me to even bolt on the passenger side, I had to move the driver side "out" to match... this is what both sides looked like)

Long story short, I wanted to make this thing look good so 1) I cut new fog light mounting holes, 2) extended the mounting holes on the passenger wing and 3) trimmed off a piece of the passenger wing mounting bracket to get this to fit flush. It took me basically 3-4 days b/c I was using my drill + mini die grinder to cut through 1/2" of steel... plus hours of fitting, taking off and refitting and figuring out what I needed to modify.

Here's the final pics... looks good and I'm pretty happy with how I got it to look. I have a ton of metal shavings on my clothes but I think it was worth it. Shout out to @nonamex for his advice/help
