I saw these on a Land Cruiser - from Westcott Designs - like these a bit better. The install looks a little scary - but they have a video guide:Great point, they sure look great though.

I hear ya. I was looking at these since I would not have to drill into the plastic trim by the windshieldI did watch the install video for those as well, quite detailed and seems like a ton of work for some ditch lights. And with Westcott you're only able to run that specific pod model.
I'm sure it all is - so much of these parts even come in as rough outs that the mfrs do final work on and voila its American...I have their rear tow hook. But I was shocked to find out when a member posted on a gx fb group the Cf fenders are made in china. Wonder if the stuff is chinese made
Maybe it's just me. But trying to understand the rationale for putting carbon fiber fender flares on a vehicle that if you take off road are going to potentially get trashed. Painted plastic seems like a better idea...LOL....their $1999 carbon fiber fender flares are made in China?
With a little digging, you can probably find them on Alibaba for $9.99.
edited to reflect the actual absurd price of the carbon fiber kit at $1999, not $1399
I would love to have their plain black plastic fender flares for a little extra coverage over my bigger tires, but I'm not paying $1399!!! I'd pay $250.Maybe it's just me. My life is a theme park of stupid things - so tough to criticize. If some wants them they can have at it - at least the NYTOP version will be premier quality.I would love to have their plain black plastic fender flares for a little extra coverage over my bigger tires, but I'm not paying $1399!!! How long did it take to install the hybrid front bumper? Can it be done w/o a lift or jacking up the front end? I hate to pay a shop $190 per hour if it’s something I can do myself. Thanks!I have posted here about the rock sliders and hybrid bumper and other stuff. Really like them. Packaging for shipping is best I’ve ever experienced too.
I held off buying the hybrid bumper after many owners posted the fit issues - where the bumper was off when comparing the left to right sides and the gaps to the trim. Those are on the site and perhaps this thread even. How long did it take to install the hybrid front bumper? Can it be done w/o a lift or jacking up the front end? Thanks! Hopefully someone else can chime in before I drop several hundred dollars in labor costs.I held off buying the hybrid bumper after many owners posted the fit issues - where the bumper was off when comparing the left to right sides and the gaps to the trim. I’ve bought the trailer hitch cover and front control arm covers and am very happy - but the pictures have me pause.
I think you can install yourself - know many have on this site. Do you have to remove the bumper cover to install? Thanks! Hopefully someone else can chime in before I drop several hundred dollars in labor costs.
You can definitely install it yourself. It takes a couple of hours if everything fits correctly. Mine didn't so it took a lot longer to enlarge holes and grind things down. After all that it still didn't fit properly so I did the best I could and left it at that. Thanks! Hopefully someone else can chime in before I drop several hundred dollars in labor costs.
It took me a few hours. I think I may have driven it up a small ramp to give me a bit more room (with jack stands underneath for extra protection). I'm pretty mechanically inclined in general, but not specifically with respect to cars, but it worked out well. There is some fiddling to do, and I have a suggestion about how to remove the existing bottom plastic bumper that is much easier than their instructions. If you go down that path, PM me and we can talk. How long did it take to install the hybrid front bumper? Can it be done w/o a lift or jacking up the front end?
