Basically the title. Typically when you get a lift + new wheel/tire package, are you getting your odometer recalibrated or just dealing with the fact that its a bit off? Where do you go to get this recalibrated? Sorry for the noob question :)
 
i bought the lutz auto calibration module.
it's still sitting on my desk.
maybe if i go beyond 5% and only because i tend to overspeed.

legally, there's no specific error tolerance in any state or federal law for non-commercial vehicles.
it just states "the accuracy should be whatever the vendor made it to be".
however, there are laws against tampering with the odometer calibration.
it's like legally you would be better off living with the error and just reporting it when you sell the car.
