As the title states. Anybody running 285/70 tires on their stock 2024 OT/OT+? PFA

Wish I could help you Incognito. In the beginning I had 275/70/18 w/OEM wheel on my stock ‘24 OT…
Now have 285/70/18 Toyo AT3 on an 18x8 +25, with the MT64 lift kit. So too high. We could try to “AI the look” from a picture or 2, if you want?
(picture in the HD parking lot had 32 cf of bagged soil about 660 lbs, some groceries, other misc)

Have you considered running one tire size down (275/70/18)? Seeing that you have a 24' OT, that size fills the wheel well nicely being that it sits 1" lower than the updated 1" factory lifts in the 25's and up. Not to mention that the 275s come in the SL load (and even EV version) for weight reduction as well (not sure if that matters to you).

Unless you were planning to lift it to go a few tire sizes up? Were you sticking with the factory wheels or aftermarket too?

Planning to put 25+ OEM springs on my 2024 so ya wanna go 285/70 C-load. Would go 285/75 but want to avoid E-load tires. Still might bail on the springs and run 275s tho. I have time (OEMs are young). Re: wheels I’m looking to get some TEs down the road

@incognito.gx Are you going with Falkens? They are the only tires I could find in 285/70R18 that were C-load rated but they are 10 lbs heavier than the Nitto or Toyo in the same size (E-Load). Wondering if I missed another brand(?).

Got it - yeah I am also planning to slap on 285s (Toyo AT3) with TE37XTs when I get my 26' OT hopefully later in the year.

Oh sh*t good call. Ya super heavy

Have you looked at a Cooper Rugged Trek in 275 70/18? It is the same diameter as the Toyo Open Country AT3 in 285 70/18 at 33.7” but less weight and width. I have the Rugged Treks on my 25 OT+ and I have been impressed with it. I have also noticed zero noise difference between it and the OEM Toyo’s.

Factory wheels, I like the look and should make fitment easier plus a full spare.

Just ordered at set of BFG KO3's 285/70r18. Will post later after the 25/'2026 OT 1" update lift is installed. Seems a great combo of drivability/looks and improved capabilitie.
Not mounting prior to lift? Should fit

Looks great! Thanks for sharing photos and results from garage rub testing.

Let us know how the KO3’s go from a noise/ride perspective.
