Pin number prompt (2 Viewers)

I have come here seeking help.

I've had my OT for about a year and a half now. Set the pin when I first got the vehicle. Suddenly, it has started asking me to re-enter the pin number when I start up. Not sure what triggered this to happen. Checked the forums and either did not see an answer or failed to figure out what to look for.
I know the pin but it keeps asking me to input it each time I get in. Not sure how to go back to the good old days where I did not have to do this on each start up.
(By the way, I hate pin numbers, passwords and usernames with a passion.)
Is this our AI overlords way of punishing me or a sign of some other issue?

Mine did the same after about a year. But I entered my pin and the prompt never came back.

I wonder how many people have 123456 or 6X the same number, like 111111, as their pin #.
And yes, I also hate passwords and pin numbers.

According to what I read somewhere the code screen pops up whenever a software update is installed.
