Radar Detector Mirror Tap OT+ Issue

Always just a meter before connecting sensitive equipment to a circuit. Mine has been working like a charm for a few months now. The cover is a bit fiddly but someone on here gave out the magic combination to remove it. Installation was the reverse.

THANK YOU! I have wired over 20 cars with mirror taps and I was following this thread and it wasn’t working until I finally read the whole string. You are absolutely correct. The previous instructions are backwards. You are correct!!!

I have one of these in my NX and it powers my VioFo 229 and Uniden R7. That same 10 pin plug, disconnect it, plug the Y cable inline, done. They do not have the GX listed, I emailed the company and its this one. Dash Cam Power Adapter (10-Pin) for Toyota and Lexus. D3-035
Moving the setup to the GX this weekend.
