While I love the GX OT+ overall - I'm irritated with the interior plastic in the cargo area - you have anything rub against it and it scuffs up. Has anyone found a product or way to cover up those scratches/scuffs?

I just stuff it full and let it ride

Just a thought. Can you put a ceramic coating on the interior plastic in the cargo area?
Will it work on that material like it does on the car painted surfaces?

I have been researching this for a couple of weeks. Nano makes a ceramic coating for plastic. With shipping it’s about $100. My detail guy is looking around for other options. Black plastic is terrible for showing scuffs.

Here's a link to one I just bought, so now I have two:

Receiver Shackle Bracket 10000 lbs - 2573

When I bought the one above, it was only $39 and you get 10% off if you sign up for whatever emails and/or texts (then immediately cancel). The price is now $50 ($45 with 10%) but still worth it in my opinion. What I like about this one is that you can slide it in your hitch receiver and pin it in 2 directions so the shackle can hang up/down or side/side. Could be useful in some recovery situations.

My old one is also a Superwinch and it pins in only 1 direction (so the shackle is up/down). I've had the old one for about 20 years and it's fine....it's just a hunk of metal.

Some places make super-fancy hitch receiver recovery points and 3/4" D-shackles anodized in rainbow colors and they charge a ton more $$$ but you really don't need all that.

I have canvasback side pieces - but they only cover up so far
I agree. I would have a set if they extended all the way up to the window. They missed the mark bigtime.

There are some generic ones on Amazon that look like they will do the job great, but I havent gotten around to measuring my cargo area yet. Check it out: Amazon.com

Pretty ironic how much emphasis there seems to be on coatings and protection for a vehicle that is marketed as being rugged and intended to tackle the elements.

You're not wrong about these surfaces scuffing easily but at some point you just gotta say f it or otherwise what's the point of this type of vehicle.

Guy with 8 bundles of firewood is doing it right.

There is nothing wrong with that sentiment. However, theres nothing wrong with wanting to keep your expensive stuff looking nice either, especially if you plan to keep your GX forever like me. I grew up dirt poor and even though our things came from garage sales, thrift stores, and trash day discards, if we didn't take care of them we were very unlikely to get another.
