Rear cargo area plastic scuffing

Here's a link to one I just bought, so now I have two:

Receiver Shackle Bracket 10000 lbs - 2573

When I bought the one above, it was only $39 and you get 10% off if you sign up for whatever emails and/or texts (then immediately cancel). The price is now $50 ($45 with 10%) but still worth it in my opinion. What I like about this one is that you can slide it in your hitch receiver and pin it in 2 directions so the shackle can hang up/down or side/side. Could be useful in some recovery situations.

My old one is also a Superwinch and it pins in only 1 direction (so the shackle is up/down). I've had the old one for about 20 years and it's fine....it's just a hunk of metal.

Some places make super-fancy hitch receiver recovery points and 3/4" D-shackles anodized in rainbow colors and they charge a ton more $$$ but you really don't need all that.
Thanks Bluegill - I had no idea I needed one and how empty my life was before I placed an order. The UPS driver also thanks this forum as I seem to have a dedicated truck bringing in GX things daily to the house!

I babied the shit out of my GX460 interior and then when I went to trade the dealer barely even looked inside.
I have traded in vehicles with Armor-All on every rubber hose in the engine bay, sparkling brake calipers, sterilized wheels including the back sides of the wheels, not a speck of rust anywhere underneath, not a speck of dust on top, fresh grease poking out of all zirc fittings, highly-polished surfaces everywhere, etc. and they don't give a shit. All they care about is make, model, year, mileage, and is it on fire?

That said, it's a sign of a civilized man or woman if you take care of your stuff. I just had a touch-free car wash for my GX last night and then hand-dried and buffed it and quickly got it in the garage before any dust had a chance to find it. My cargo bay, however, still has wood and dirt and tools in it. It's a work truck. I did put some of the car audio speaker carpet on the plastic side panels a while ago and I guess it helps. I'm sure there will be a sticky mess left when I go to remove it and I'll regret it.

I can only imagine the rust risk in AZ - significant in CA too!!!
