My 2025 OT is at just over 5k miles. I did the "5K service" myself.

I can't figure out how to reset the "Maintenance Required" notification on the cluster. I've double checked that I have no OBD warnings.

The procedure that ChatGPT gave me does not work:

To reset the service required indicator on a 2025 Lexus GX550:
  1. Turn ignition to ON (do not start engine).
  2. On the multi-information display, select Settings using steering wheel controls.
  3. Navigate to Scheduled Maintenance or Vehicle Settings.
  4. Select the maintenance item and choose Reset.
I can't get the steering wheel controls to do anything and there's no "Scheduled Maintenance" setting on the touch screen. What am I missing?

Interesting how people now started asking chatgpt everything.

did you try the oil change maintenance reset procedure on page 479 or the Schedule Maintenance reset procedure on page 468 of the owner's manual? "Perhaps that will work.
