Reverse Parking brake lock (2 Viewers)

So i've had this happen twice since i got the car in march 2025.

Start the car, put the car in reverse....doesnt roll back slowly and look, parking brake doesnt disengage. Have to put it back in park, then back in reverse.

anyone have this happen?!

Yes! I've had this happen twice since April of this year. Once I was in a hurry and quickly slammed the gear selector in reverse, so I attributed it to me possibly coming off the brake mid gear selection. The other time I had nothing strange I could correlate the issue with. I have not addressed this with the dealer.

Is the auto brake hold engaged?

Timing is everything, happened to me again this afternoon. That makes three times. I have to put it back in park, then in drive again. Yes, auto parking brake is applied.

Yeah it happened to me yesterday, and it is usually when i shift quickly after starting also in a rush... but it worries me too :O. cant really replicate it so i dont think the dealer will do anything. but nerve wracking....

Just wondering but I have a 2025 OT... you?
