Trying to get used to the excessive wind noise on Lux+ rack. How Lexus let that option go to market is real head scratcher.

I got rid of mine, I like the quiet. The rails are not aerodynamic, air moving over them causes my panaramic glass to vibrate. Agree a very poor design.

I haven't seen anybody try this yet.

It's a pretty common practice to reduce rack noise by spiral wrapping cord around the leading cross bar. The spirals are spaced out but play around with that. On my not-GX vehicle the spirals are a couple inches apart and it eliminated my rack noise irritation.

I definitely will need a roof rack for my cargo box and am hoping somebody here will try it and report back.

Removing the rubber strip on the bottom of the leading edge also helps reduce the noise significantly.
