I am trying to decide between 285/45R22 tires and the 275/50R22 for my 2025 GX550 Luxury Plus. We just moved to Colorado and I am doing the all weather winter approved tires for either size. I am curious what people prefer. Aesthetically, the 285 is a wider sportier look and you lose a little diameter. The 275 is slightly taller but you only get .4 inches of width improvement. What I hate the most about the stock tires is they are way to thin for size of the SUV so I am trying to give it some more width. Looking for people's opinion and experience when changing to these tires. I would love to see some pics as well.
