The twins (my two 981 S’s) are started every weekend, and driven every 2-3 weeks. Their batteries
have stayed topped up for the last couple of years due to meticulously connecting a battery tender before closing the garage. The same is true for all of my motorcycles.
Those of us with an extra vehicle that is driven more for pleasure than daily purpose find a battery tender a great asset in preventing the inevitability of a dead battery.
My 2026 GX, still being in it’s infancy of ownership gets driven - maybe once a week. Given its massive electric demand compared to an average vehicle and sans an AGM battery, this weekend I pulled the trigger and put it on a battery tender.
Curious to know from other GX owners with “low monthly mileage” and vehicles purchased in 2024 if they have had any battery issues over the last two years, both with and
without “TLC” …
