Just installed the magnaflow catback exhaust couple days ago and right away I noticed a big increase in vibration in the footwell when driving in low rpm’s and it’s prominent from 1k rpm to 3k rpm when accelerating normally. I can feel the exhaust in the footwell when driving normally, which I don’t remember if the stock exhaust was like that or not. Honestly don’t remember.
Those who have this exhaust I wanted to ask if you guys are experiencing the same?
I torqued the downpipe spring bolts to 32lbs which is the spec from Lexus. And no part of the exhaust touches the car. Idk if there’s a slight exhaust leak or resonance from the exhaust in general. But the downpipe connection to catback is located right under the footwell that’s why I just wanted to be sure cuz I’m overthinking it.

EDIT: nvm I solved it! The center midpipe muffler clearance at the front is a little tight so I had to bend the heat shield, and that solved the vibration issue.

Can you post a pic of where you bent the heat shield? Is that the second pic metal thing and you bent it towards the body?

I got this exhaust as well and they had to send me a new muffler because the first one had a leak in once of the welds. I can't remember if there was any vibration on acceleration with the stock but I would expect a little in a performance exhaust.

Sorry for the late reply. i am going to get the car back up on the lift this weekend to adjust to exhaust more because the axle back portion is touching the frame and bangs on it. It could also be causing vibration. I'll snag a picture and post it for you this weekend. I had to bend the heatshield near the muffler towards to front of the car. it literally basically touching. magnaflow told me to send them some pictures if it falls under manufacturing defect.

What is your opinion of the new catback? Better, quieter, more power??
I was thinking of ordering it.
i made a tiktok reivew on it:

honeslty i wish it was louder and also it definitely brings in cabin vibrations and resoinance more. I feel like I could hear and feel the exhaust inside the cabin more than how loud it is outside. Just a weird feeling cuz I know the exhaust isn't that loud. Could be because the center muffler is a chambered design instead of a straight through design where the sound could be resonated or bouncing in there where its right under the car making it seem louder inside than it is. Also when youre on full throttle, it sounds like a vacuum because of the chambered muffler

i would wait for more exhaust options to come out.

No worries- did you bend the heat shield up towards the car/away from the muffler or down towards the muffler?

I feel like mine is pretty loud. Not bad but a loud V6 sound. I was thinking of pulling mine off and selling
