Warranty rims (1 Viewer)

If powder coat my rims and paint the calipers , will I lose warranty in case there will be issues on brakes, etc. thanks in advance

I wouldn't have a shop that doesn't know what they're doing work on your car. If you don't know how to disassemble / reassemble calipers, then I'd pay someone that knows how to do the work. If a year down the road you have an issue with the caliper, it would be tough to argue that the work that was done wasn't somehow linked.

Worst case you could always take the GX to the local dealership and pay them whatever they'd charge to do a brake system inspection.

Considering there is a chance the calipers are defective from the factory I wouldn’t modify them in any way.
