Long story short. Ordered a new gx 550...saw there was a long wait on the wescott collar lift....bought it in anticipation of buying the gx in 3-4 mo and having it ready to go. That didnt happen. Waited 9 months and finally gave up. Bought a Bronco Raptor instead. My wife drives a 24 gx 550...she likes the luxury version and doesn't want it on hers. And yes...I liked them enough to own 2.
You can search the lift kit, do your research. Call wescott before ordering..make sure it will work for your specific model. I noticed they recently changed the part numbers. I bought this about 4 months ago. Its been sitting in my closet since then. Wescott offered to take it back and give me a credit minus restocking....and yup....thats where I priced it at. Someone else can get the discount of the re stock fee. If you need any more details just let me know. If your local...ill knock $20 off bc it saves me shipping. But im lazy...so you gotta come to me. Asking $360 shipped..good deal for someone. All I ask..send pics when complete.
