Pulled off the roof rails a couple days ago, having the entire roof PPF’d today in preparation for a Gamiviti Roof Rack.
I think it’ll be ready the next 2-3 weeks over in Denver.

An axle back exhaust won’t fail you in CA. Even a catback back exhaust won’t fail you in this horrible state.

You do not need a smog check on a new model year for 8 years - so you’re good. Keep the old if you are worried and install it. In reality the only part you removed was the resonator - which has nothing to do with emissions

Returned from 1300 mile road trip +-20mpg and then had PPF on the entire front clip completed after removing the dealers' crappy job on the bonnet. She's at rest in the garage at the moment. Mulling over the replacement tires for the stock ones. I want Mickey Thompson but they discontinued the tire I chose............
