I ordered a set of OT wheels to use for a winter set of tires. 1 of the tires looks like it got damaged by FEDEX in transit. I just sent some photos to the seller to see if he insured it and if he can process a claim. Since its a winter set, I'm not concerned with cosmetic damage. Do you think this will cause issues mounting a tire and sealing?

I dont know how how the impact/damage occurred. If it dropped and is out of round I assume it wont balance. I cant tell from the naked eye. Send it or send it back? I have not purchased the snow tires yet, so I cant get them mounted and balanced yet.

2 of the 4 delivered today. The other wheel looks fine. The other 2 should be delivered tomorrow.

Looks cosmetic to me and could be repaired if it does bother you. Around here they charge $125 per wheel for mobile service.

yeah i think so too. I sent some pics to a local wheel repair shop. Ill take it down to the tire shop tomorrow and see if they expect any issues mounting and balancing it.
The seller called me and apologized. He doesnt have a single to replace it but has offered a refund. He left his personal cell number and really wanted to make it right.
