Anyone had their windshield replaced yet? I called both my local dealership and local glass installer this morning and it’s still on back order with no ETA. Parts dept told me the windshield alone is approx $1,300. I have insurance coverage in MA and am waiting on them to process the claim.

Luckily ours is on the lower passenger side and I can still drive.

Yes, replaced with OEM. In Massachusetts, windshield coverage is mandatory and part of insurance. No deductible.

Cracked my windshield recently and while I had it repaired, I asked the glass companies to check on the stock of windshields and they said it was available from the local Lexus dealer within 3 days.

I did not replace windshield. I fixed crack and looks not bad

90 days is quite some waiting period, particularly with a broken windshield on a brand new GX. I hope Toyota/Lexus will be able to give you an actual estimate soon. I have heard similar reports about Charlotte auto glass shortage, so it would be nice to hear from someone who has received an OEM windshield for the 2024 GX recently. Have you received any expected delivery date from the dealer?

I have replaced mine twice at dealership. last one 2 weeks ago at dealer in Lubbock tx. The dealer said they found 3 windshields in Dallas.
