Either an OBD kit or the fuse box hardwire kit works for 24/7 monitoring. Both have low-voltage protection built in so your battery won't drain.

It gives you 24/7 protection depending on the mode you choose:

G-Sensor: Stays on standby 24/7 and wakes up to record if there's an impact.
Time-Lapse: Continuous recording that can be set for 12, 24, or 48 hours.
