2025+ Overtrail running 275/70/18 tires

Anybody running 285/70/18 Falken Wildpeak AT4s on their stock 2024 OT?

These aren't Falkens, but they are 285/70/18 tires AT3s (pics grabbed from FB group page):

This setup looks pretty darn good, even on the factory wheels. I personally don't hate the look of the OT rim, but not in love with em either. I keep jumping back and forth whether to just go this route and call it a day (no need to worry about trimming/cutting, etc)... Or pair it up with an aftermarket forged wheel.

Ya ive seen those. He has a 2025. Trying to see what 285/70 looks like on a stock ‘24.

33.7 fits, have it since last fall.

Edit: sorry, that’s on a ‘24 OT and with the OEM wheel.
No idea for other years, trims or rims.

Got the the 275/70/r18 toyo AT3 open country EV SL tires put on today. They definitely look more substantial than the stock tires. The treads are much deeper than the OE overtrail tires. The OE AT3’s always looked slightly undersized to me. The 275/70/r18’s look to be exactly proportionately sized to the vehicle. From other’s photos, the 285’s look slightly oversized to me

I have photos below that don’t do justice to what they look like in person, but i have photos below that show how deep treads are and distance from front tire to front fender (just under 2 inches)
Now that you've driven on the larger regular AT3's - what are your impressions? Relatively quiet? Was there much of a difference in MPG?

There is no discernible difference in sound. The ride is firmer in turns. The mpg dropped ever so slightly.
An actual measured mpg or just going off the vehicle readout? If using the vehicle, did you reprogram for the new size? The 275s have a 1.7% greater circumference so if going off the unadjusted vehicle calculations it will underestimate mileage by that amount.

I never trust the on board computer for anything other than a rough estimate. When I check my mileage, which is rare because I just don't care that much about it, I verify the accuracy of my odometer and go by the pump readings on fillup. It's usually close but never the same as the computer estimate. You're still at the mercy of the pump accuracy so I try to be as empty as possible when I check it.
