Add a CD player

Okay, no laughing. Well, not too much anyway. I'm thinking of trying to add a CD player. Any suggestions on a player that I can plug into the existing stereo system? I assume I would need one with controls. Thanks

I found some options. Thinking now about switching from Pandora to Spotify. Maybe stop being lazy and download my tunes to the iPhone.
