I have installed the Micro Flaps on my Overtrail+ over the weekend with fitment issues unfortunately. As you can see the flaps are not flush at all. Has anyone come across this issue? I emailed the company but was told to use the chat on thier website. The chat is asking for pictures but doesn't have a way to upload the pics to their AI chat page. No complaining as I like the flaps but the screws seem to be too long within the wheel wells to look correct. Let me know if I'm doing something incorrect & thanks for any help on this.

I just checked mine and they aren't quite flush either, but they seem to conform to the arch shape a bit better than yours.
The base plate on your rear flap is pretty straight. Torque the bolts down and it should conform to the shape. Also keep in mind that it was about a thousand degrees in my garage out here in AZ when I installed these (and it still is) so the plastic is probably softer and more conforming.

Now that I look at it again, your rear micro flap seems different than mine. I do remember the rear having a base plate but I don't remember it being that prominent. I also remember the directions being a pain in the ass to get a hold of, then a pain because you have to watch along with a video like this is some kind of Bob Ross painting activity. Also, if the proprietor of ARK told me to use the chat on his website to address fitment issues, I would personally fly out his home base and slap him across the face.

Did you use the long screws in the kit? I ask as the screws are what's holding the flap away from the wheel well. I wonder what thread screws are needed as I could just find shorter if I knew

To be perfectly honest, I don't recall the screw setup. Did they include long and short? I don't think so....I remember having a couple leftover pieces but I think it was just a couple extra of those little black tabs that create a new threaded hole in the base pieces. I'd probably just use a dremel tool to shave a few mm's off the too-long bolts rather than screw around with a non-responsive vendor.
