You cannot compare Japanese made products to chinese-made products that is apples to oranges
Sure, you can. The factory front Japanese made rotors on my wife's Land Cruiser warped and caused a vibration. Not wanting to pay Toyota again for the same product only to get the same results, I bought a set of Chinese front rotors off Amazon.com. I installed them along with new pads and the Land Cruiser never had another problem with braking vibrations. I certainly don't take this to mean that Chinese quality is better than Japanese quality. In general, it's the other way around. However, the Chinese can beat the Japanese, U.S. and others on like products when it comes to quality sometimes. In general, off shore is understood to mean not made in the home country. It's not understood to be equivalent to Chinese.

thanks to this thread, not ordering from either cbi or victory. I want to go with dissent but their bumper is a little bit too aggressive for me.

my rear shelf from Victory had worn areas where metal rubbed in storage at their shop or in their mfr process. Not exactly thrilled - but inside the car not worried about it getting wet and used a magic marker. Still disappointing for a $400 item.

My shelf parts were rattling together in the box and there were several areas where the powder coat was scratched up and also worn off. A black sharpie fixed it enough for me. It's not like you can really see much of the shelf up there in the dark roof area anyway. One of the side window molle brackets (which I didn't use as I don't have the window molle panels) was really scraped and worn along a sharp edge.
