Brown plastic on springs

What’s the brown plastic for, that is partially on the springs? Pic here.

I searched and couldn’t find. Apologies if already addressed.

Those are called spring silencers and are placed on progressive springs to eliminate noise when the springs bind.

OK thanks. I questioned what they were because they were not on all of the pre-production test Overtrails, and they don't appear on the parts diagrams for other Lexus models. But makes sense that they might not add those until final production. Hope they release the parts diagrams soon.

Lexus probably didn't notice the spring binding early on and added these after someone noticed the issue during testing.
