We put a deposit down on an Overtrail+ that arrived to the Long Beach port and was put on hold due to minor damage in transport. Now we are stuck waiting for the part to arrive in order for the repair to happen. Has anyone dealt with this before? What is the timeline we should be expecting?

This happens all the time. it just so happens that you are tracking this particular vehicle and see the sausage getting made. There is no way to say how long the wait is, but will depend on how great the damage is or how extensive the repair might be.

It was super minimal. Just the bumper cover (literally a $320 part). I was told that it could take weeks (to months) because production is so focused on making parts for NEW vehicles rather than replacement parts for damaged ones.......I wish there was a way to track the part and the repair progress. We are sitting in the dark over here!!
