Downshift when approaching stops (1 Viewer)

If there is future software update, I wonder if this occurs remotely or if it will require a visit to the dealership. A friend with a new Tundra told me he had his truck into the toyota dealership (no shifting issues)for routine service maintenance and they "reflashed" his transmission software due to an update.

One thing I do miss coming from an F-150 to my GX is the ability to monitor software update status, know when they're available, and in some cases flash them myself.

I’ve been dealing with this issue. Jerky downshifts when rolling to a stop. For me this started at around 6000 miles on my 24 OT+. Dealer reset ECU but the issue returned within days. Went in today to get the brake replacement. They told me the jerky downshift issue is well known and Lexus is working on a software update to remedy. According to my service guy the update should be rolled out in the next 30 days.

Let’s hope this is a permanent fix because it’s ruining my customer experience.
Update: Still no fix from Lexus on this issue. My service guy said he has a list of over 30 people waiting for it, but no news from Lexus. However, a weird thing happened to me - I took mine in for the 10k service and they once again rest the ECU (transmission). I had already done this twice and in both cases the jerky downshifts returned in a matter of days. But this time (fingers crossed), after a week + the issue has not come back.

Mine no longer has the slowdown downshift, and it's been a few thousand miles since the reset. I now get an awkward upshift between first and second sometimes. Current is better but I want the fix.

Okay I went in for a 1 year service and now the fuse tap that was running my camera in parking mode suddenly doesn't provide power after the car is turned off and there are times when I put the car into Drive or Reverse and it doesn't move until I hit the accelerator - feels so off... anyone else have this?

Suggest you start a new thread for that issue. Please include which fuse you are tapping.
