Floor jack recommendations? (1 Viewer)

Anything in particular you don't like about Costco and Daytona jacks?

For every amateur and professional race team I've seen, the one universal constant is everybody will have one of those cheap blue $50 Daytona jacks

I'm old skool.. my blue AC hydraulic low profile (20+yrs) is still going strong for my cars. However, I did get the Harbor freight 3T badlands last year. Got it on sale, I recommend it..

what is your AC Hydraulic jack rated at? I'm considering their 2.2ton but I don't know if it's enough to lift the GX

That Badlands should do about anything a GX needs with all the extensions.

I had three floor jacks from owning other vehicles. One is a low profile for the Camaro (now gone), a 3 1/2 ton steel jack for standard stuff on my pickup, a 3 ton aluminum Harbor Fright, and I recently bought a 1 1/2 ton small ProEagle floor jack to take in the Jeep when rock crawling.

For around the house, the modified 3 ton aluminum jack gets tapped more than the others. I made some extensions that slip on and fitted a leaf spring perch for axles and square cutout one for frames. It should work well for most GX work.

Those stands are 6 ton Martin Industries stands, ASME conforming, thick wall tube, 5/8" pins, 14-22" range. I think they'll be just about right for the GX too. https://www.amazon.com/6-6-Ton-Stan...6+ton,aps,328&sr=8-73&xpid=N5yoY8yERlijr&th=1
