Yes in sales, her assistant will arrange for drop off and pick up of the vehicle

It's concierge service, you don't have to worry about who you deal with in service

I usually tip the porter when they drop off the loaner

Purchase experience due to our sales guy was positive with Sterling McCall SW. Afterwards communication was trash. After they take care of the squeaky brakes, poor PPF install and leaky lumbar we plan on taking our business over to Katy.

Did my 10k service at Westside today. My 5k was at Sterling McCall. Similar experience at both (I did not have someone pick up my car) and waited in the lobby both times. For brake and hood flutter issues Westside acknowledged issue and I'm on the waiting list for parts with no ETA.
10k was complimentary (oil, filter, tire rotation) and was my 5k (oil filter only). I did notice on my receipt that Westside chipped my car with some sort of recognition device so that they would "better recognize me" at my next visit. Had I been asked about that before I would have declined - under no illusions that big brother is watching or anything, but why do they really need to do that? I'm going to see if I can find that and remove it.
Anyway overall I see no big difference personally, but Westside is marginally closer to me. I'll probably stick with them through warranty period then find a good independent shop closer to me.

I'm not sure, but I see a sticker on my door jamb that might be it. I looked it up and it's technology to help the service advisors get your data in quicker, supposedly it puts your name up on a sign when you come in, alerts your sales guy if you bought the car there so they come say hello. Overall it appears to be pretty benign, bells and whistles to the customer but gets cars out of the drive-in bay quicker. Time is money to the dealership ...

Sorry for off topic post, but since we are discussing Lexus in Houston.
How long it takes to get plates? i bought the car in New York, paid Texas taxes, registration, etc. Dealer submitted papers to Texas DMV to get plates, so it will be shipped to them and then they will ship to me.

How long did you wait? I ordered from Westside as well, but could not wait any longer as i needed car, so i bought out of state, wait time was 3 weeks

$2500 deposit paid at westside mid august 2024 for a white prem+ bench. added black to my colors in feb. got allocated a black mid march, and picked it up late april 2025. didn't care about waiting, and am happy that i ended up with a 2025 model instead of getting the last of 2024's just from a resale perspective.
