The hood was nailed by a rock going down the interstate. Thank goodness it was protected. For those debating on getting your GX PPF’ed, it’s worth it.

PPF did its job….

Yes, the detail place I use only uses this. I have it on my C8 Corvette and recently installed on my GX. Know what you are getting and only from a reputable installer who knows what they are doing. Remember you get what you pay for. My complete front end wrap was 2k and that was discounted some after getting my 4th vehicle done. Its thicker because its used as a track wrap on sports cars for track use. You're installer will know, at least they should. If not, go elsewhere.

Yeah it definitely wasn’t cheap. I had my entire front end done including the roof, and the windows tinted with XR+ for $5.8k.

I couldn’t agree with you more! I had the entire vehicle wrapped with XPEL Ultimate Fusion PPF (infused with ceramic coating) which is 7 mil and it saved the lower part of my front drivers door from a massive rock impact. My Overtrail+ has the OEM rock sliders as opposed to the standard running boards and the lower portion of the doors are exposed to rocks being thrown up by the front tires (my mud flaps hadn’t been installed at the time).

If the Ultimate Fusion product was available in a 10 mil thickness I would have definitely chosen it, but it’s only available in 7 mil at this time.

I’m a big believer in PPF!!!
