Window deflectors have their place, but I am a traditionalist experience with the ceramic code. When it rains open up your door you will get a mini waterfall definitely prevent that like I said how much addition list I like the look.

Any update on the toyota ones

supposed to get them in today, but customs and USPS are playing games with me. I bought a couple sets so hopefully they work.

Finally got this package and it did not disappoint. These are the JDM LC250 rain visors and from my limited time with them, they should fit the GX550. They do have a TOYOTA embossing on them though

What I didn't know about these visors is that they use hardware as well as double sided tape to stay on. Also, they are clear tinted where they overlap with the window. They are pretty low profile and not as "bubbly" as the other stick-on rain visors I've seen. I picked up a couple sets to save on shipping but will offer them here before I post them in the LC forum

Toyota LC ones. Wasn’t sure I’d like them when I got them, but I like them. Only ones I’d go with as they fit closely to the window.

Agreed, they look as good as can be. Lux+ in black heats up quickly on hot humid MW days.
Last question….. is the drivers view obstructed much? Especially with left turns at intersections? I’ve had a couple of close calls as the A-pillar can be a blind spot with deflectors on. Thx

No, not at all. Totally transparent and unobstructed (At least from my perspective). I'll try and take a photo or two from the inside looking out as soon as I get a chance.

Hardly notice them…but I think it’s subjective.

When you installed them, did you have to remove the rubber nub on the front windows?

Yes. I just pulled them down to attach clips then pushed them right back into place. Very easy.

I'm hoping that adding the visors will help with window vibration when i want to crack the windows open. Always nervous that those giant front driver/passenger windows will break from wind/vibration...

Just gently pull straight down. Are you referring to the clips? I guess for extra stability instead of just tape.
I’m not sure about the window vibration issue that you’re having as I haven’t noticed much vibration with mine, before or after installing the visors. At least not enough where I worried about the window breaking.
