Hey all,

Just picked up my Lux+ Nori Green. Getting gloss black PPF for the roof and clear PPF on the front, along with ceramic over top and slight window tints. Next project is wheels/tires.

After talking to a wheel/tire place, I'm between 20" or 22" Vossen HF6-4s or HFX-1s w/ Nitto Terra G3s. From my research and speaking to others, it seems like 20" may make the ride quality a smidge better. Tire/wheel dealer said its really personal preference.

Are there any advantages to staying with 22"s or sizing down to 20"s? What is everyone's personal preference?

I don't have my Lux+ yet, but from my research the ride will be a little better with the 20''s vs the 22''s

Tires also play into this, with XL versions, VS. LT tires, (LT tires ride a little harsher & weigh more)

my vote would be 20" wheels. I feel like 22's don't have enough sidewall for the types of roads we have in Ontario, having driven on some PA interstates I feel like your local roads are equally challenging in terms of potholes/rough patches

Why not go down to 18" and benefit from a cushier ride and more off road capability.
I think the 18's give the GX the right look too.

Here’s your GX on 20 vossen’s, gloss black roof and tint. lol

That looks great lol. Mine is still work in progress. Blacking out the pillars and mirrors too, more tint on the front sides. Ceramic overtop.

Might go down to 18”

I've been considering this as I've gone further down the research path. I do notice the 22" wheels/tires that came with my Lux+ makes you feel every bump/hole in the road. If 18" will absorb potholes and bumps better, this might be the way!

Yes, our roads suck. Even worse in the cities. I'm going 20" but I might even size down to 18" if that will help even more.

If you have the patience sell them on ebay/fb marketplace as singles, people looking for replacements for curbed wheels/pothole damage will pay a premium for a single wheel vs a set.

My Lux is inbound, and I will be swapping the 22's out for 20's (I'm in Pennsylvania also). What's the market for the 22's? Able to resell them?

I’d be interested in your 22”’s if/when you sell. I’m in NY but have a house in PA too. LMK.
