Map orientation (2 Viewers)

The map on my screen always comes up with the arrow pointing up — and the map rotates as the vehicle turns. I have to reach over and touch the little up-down arrow in the upper right corner to set it so that North is always up. But when I start again, the map is circling around again. Every other Lexus I have owned remembers the last setting. Is there any way to make North-Up the default setting?

I've been wondering about this as well. My cursory look through the settings menu didn't reveal a default layout option, but my '17 GS350 does maintain your choice of map orientation.
