I typically have good posture and proper seating position while driving.

The other day I received a few warnings, e.g. "Sit Up” and “Driver inattentive.” OK so yes my GX treats me like a child.
Can you tell me what I need to turn off to make that stop? Mine hates it when I wear sunglasses. It never stops beeping at me and it's making me crazy!

My experience with these issues the system is inconsistent example depending on how I scratch my head or ribeye there an alert or none they absolutely have to tweak it not related but I would like to see a slightly larger HUD display

My GX550 nags me too much.
GX: "OOH! Watch out for that car coming from the left! - BEEP! BEEP!"
Me: "I saw it 10 seconds ago. Stop nagging"
GX: "OH! Look out! Another car is coming behind it now! - BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!"
Me: "Whoa, big surprise. Two cars on a busy road. Please stop doing this."

Our driver monitor nags me to death with driver inattention alarms but doesn't bother my wife who admits she actually needs it and has the only profile associated with the GX. Anyone have a clue as to why?

I, too, disabled driver monitor warnings. It was a nightmare when I first received the car! Ridiculous since the interface requires so much attention and fiddling with items on the multimedia screen.

Could it be your hand placement? Maybe wifey keeps her hands at 9-3, but you let your left hand slip up to 12?
That's when my GX starts nagging me about inattention, non-compliance or that it's time to get my 2024 taxes filed...

"No matter how cynical you become, it's never enough to keep up."

I turned that crap off day one. Similarly, I had to disable notifications for the Lexus app since it was constantly annoying the sh*t out of me with meaningless notifications about door lock/unlock and rear seat passengers.

The driver monitor alert drove me crazy, finally found a fix with this product. Game changer for me because I would get the alert constantly:

I saw a guy tried this on a YouTube video, but it was the land
Cruiser. He showed that it didn't work. Unfortunately I can't find the video, so take my comment with a grain of salt.

Does this stop any of the driver assist functions from working?

I don't know exactly what this "feature" is or does, since the guy who did the tech walkthrough at delivery immediately asked me if I wanted it disabled and he turned it off.

At the top of the steering column, behind the wheel (where many cars place the hazard light button) there's a pair of IR sensors that are used to determine if the driver is looking out the windshield
