Our 2025 GX550 Luxury+ is finally what we envisioned! The only thing left to do is swap out the flush roof rails for the raised Overtrail roof rails.

We painted our Incognito Lexus with a black roof, black door handles, and black mirrors. Then we added Nitto Ridge Grapplers (275/50r22). This was after much going back and forth on doing a lift and buying new wheels. We’re happy with our choice in the end!

Nice ride! How is the fit of the 275/50R22? I am interested in new tires but keeping the stock 22”. Is there any rubbing or trimming needed? I believe this size is still under the 33” diameter. And is the ride any noisier or rougher? I’d like to replace the OEM Dunlop. Thanks for the feedback!

We are very happy with the new tires! No rubbing and no trimming needed. We love the aggressive sidewalls on the Ridge Grapplers… they really toughen up the look!

So far in just a couple days of driving around town I’d say there probably a little louder, but I was afraid my wife would definitely say something if they made too much noise and she hasn’t said anything… she absolutely loves them!
We'll be doing a short highway drive today....

Looks great. We are starting to see more and more GX's around DFW. I certainly prefer the look with a lift and bigger tires.

Beautiful GX. I have an Atomic Silver OT+ and really wanted a black roof, but that was not meant to be without a long wait. I checked into wrapping the roof, but was told by the installer that wraps would not last long if I use tunnel car washes which I do frequent. With that in mind what is the approx cost for painting a GX roof?

It actually depends on your roof since there are different sunroofs. Since ours has the panoramic roof the price was different of course. We painted the roof, door handles, and mirrors for about $2500.

How was the noise at highway speeds? I have had good experiences with the ridge grapplers in previous cars, and just ended up ordering 5 in the 275 size for our Atomic Lux+

You had the roof painted? Why not have it wrapped to preserve the factory paint?

Wrapping doesn't last that long especially in the AZ sun. And it was not that much less expensive than paint... And I have no desire to ever go back to the original color or a different color.
