OE GX 550 Premium 20" Wheels w/Aftermarket Off-Road or All-Terrain Tires (1 Viewer)

Looks really good!!! Love the powder coating blacked out wheels!!
Thanks, yeah came out better than I expected for keeping everything "stock". Thanks to you guys for showing the 275/65/20s on the stock rims wish they just had an option for gloss black 20s from the factory but wasn't all that expensive to have them redone.

Yeah I was happy to keep such a good ride. The 275/65s ride better than the OEM 255s. I have loved the Terra Grapler G3s! If you do LTs you will greatly affect the ride quality. I know bc I have a tremor f150 and went for XL 116 load range to KT 123 load range. This pic is right now…

how much was it to powder coat them?? You’re in CT right? We are along ways away but curious to see how much it is….

Thanks to a lot of the info from this forum. Powder coated the stock 20" Premium+ rims gloss black and added 275/65/20r SL Nitto Terra Grappler G3s. Gloss Black Silicone lug nut caps from Amazon and will be adding the upturn gloss/matte wheel cap tint to cover the chrome Lexus caps.
Wow looks amazing!! Did you also do the spare? If so, any issues fitting it in the spare location?

Also, any other images from the side view? Would like to get a sense of whether a leveling kit is truly needed. Thanks!

Looks great! Just a warning, I (think) the Upturn Prints covers only work on flat surfaces.

Can you clarify what you mean... did you go with the 116T SL or the 126S E1?

My 116's have been a nightmare. Super choppy ride at any speed. DT tried balancing them 4 times over 1600 miles. They swapped out two new ones earlier this week. Still shit. To be fair the ones that kept showing off were the passenger side and they only started with replacing the two rear. Supposed to be swapping the other two front on Saturday, so perhaps that finds the culprit. We'll see. Not sure what I will do if I pull out of their parking lot after the remaining swap and find that these tires are still bouncing. Haven't really been able to enjoy the ride which is quite unfortunate.

That tire size looks great guys. Waiting on delivery of our Premium +. Thanks for your posts. Will be doing the same. How far off is the speedometer? Any way to adjust the larger tire?

Here is my observations on the speedometer...

The service guy I spoke to when I got my plates, said no one had asked about calibration before, and he didn't think they did such a thing even with a vehicle that comes with various tire sizes and wheel wells to fit even bigger.

I immediately took off my stock Prem 31.5 and put on 34.1. I expected a 8.25% increase in speed over the speedometer reading. Using my bike GPS computer and also an iphone, my 34.1 is actually only 5% faster than the speedometer. I never got to benchmark the stock 31.5.

If you do the math, take out the 5%, that would benchmark the speedometer to 32.4 tires. Note that stock Lux are 32.4 and stock OT are 32.6.

Therefore, had I measured, it is plausible that Prem models are actually moving 3% slower than the speedometer reads. Also racking up more miles on the odometer while registering a higher mpg than what they are getting. Assuming all models are calibrated equally; ignoring stock tire size.

Great feedback. Thanks for the info.
