So I have had this GX for a week now
Couple questions, observations.
I have noticed that I don’t have the auto shut off feature. I know they are no longer required. I don’t know if they just programmed it away like I know is possible with my wife’s Mercedes or my pickup, or if it truly didn’t have that functionality anymore (it is a 2026). I can’t find a button anywhere to turn it off so I almost think it didn’t come with it.
Secondly, is there a trick to the kick sensor? I’m sure I have it turned on but it won’t open the hatch and the neighbors are looking at me funny.
Third, big brother keeps telling me it can’t see me when my hand is on top of the wheel, can I turn that functionality off? I don’t want that or the lane assist that keeps trying to keep me from changing lanes.
And lastly is there a better solution to this key fob glove thing? What a worthless bit of engineering. I will gladly just take it off, but I can’t find a key chain that this fob will go on. I can just use the key card thing but I worry about its longevity.
Thanks all
Cory
