Would love it to be a SW fix for the pre 26' models. I

Anyone get confirmation from a dealer? I will call my local one this week.

FWIW- 26 is plenty bright.

Are there any examples of this difference? TBH I had the 24 and now a 26 and I don’t notice a difference. Maybe it’s pretty subtle.

It's kinda crazy to hear they're not bright enough, because they were so distracting at default brightness in my '25 that I have them all turned down to minimum brightness, with the footwell lights turned off entirely. I do live out in the woods with zero streetlights - even on our highways - so that probably has something to do with it.

Then again, I've never liked ambient lighting you can notice. I have mine set to "2000s BMW orange" (I think Sunset?) just to have a little light that minimally affects my nighttime vision.

Anyone have a chance to ask their dealers about a firmware update to improve the brightness for 2024-2025 models?

The lighting seems fine when adjusted to full brightness.
