Tire psi? (1 Viewer)

My OT Toyo tires were at 41, I haven’t checked the spare. I do carry an air pump in the GX.
I lowered the 4 down to 35-ish, played around a bit. The ride is more comfortable on city streets that way. I still have the vibration thing going on. Leaving on a trip and have them at 38 now. All PSI from a couple very reliable hand gauges, checked by a cheaper, smaller 3rd gauge. The TPMS reads about 4 low.. I need to read manual and see if I can re-set, recalibrate it.
Didn’t your OT come with a compressor built into the left side cargo area?

Any recommendations as a rule of thumb for pressures on different surfaces? Dirt, sand, mud, ice, deep snow?

In another attempt to get my OT+ with Peak front spacer and 20mm offset wheels to ride somewhat decent, I have switched down to
31 psi cold.

Not much improvement.

No, my OT is a 2024 model. I carry an older Viair inflator with me at all times. It now rides in the Victory Upper Shelf, so it’s out of the way. I also carry a small backup, rechargeable pump too.

In recent months I’ve been riding around with 31, 33 psi for daily use. Towing I have the tires at max psi cold, 44 psi. Nitto TG G3, 275/70R18, SL version. (I sold off the OE tires after about 1.5 months of use.)
The lowered pressure on the Nittos did help mitigate the jittery vibration, but not totally.

I’ve just upgraded my suspension, still fully testing it; but first impressions is the jittery vibration is virtually gone with the wind. I’m now taking my tires back up to like 35, 36 psi to ensure I’m correct.
