Hello hello,
Thank you so far for the warm welcomes. Our GX550 P+ was purchased as our family car with our two young kids, in the event we want to go to the mountains to see some snow or head over to Las Vegas in a comfortable gas SUV. I'm coming off a Tesla Y which she is taking since she gets free power at work and I work from home, so I'll be driving around the gas guzzler.
Any idea if there will ever be a bigger tank?
Also somewhat interested in the Toyota LC roof rack and throwing like a mini sleeper up top, just haven't decided if this is the route I want to go.

Thanks for the add. 2025 Lux+ in Nightfall Mica with saddle interior as my wife's primary vehicle. Additional vehicles include Porsche Cayenne S and Boxster. Previously owned a GX 470 which we purchased new in 2004 and owned for 17 years. Hoping for similar experience with our new GX.

Greetings! First time Lexus owner and GX 550 driver here. Recently drove off from the dealership with my 2025 Lexus GX 550 Luxury + approximately a week ago today. Waited over 8 months to received the vehicle. Planning to get the wheels powder coated black and the vehicle wrapped. Trying to find nice looking black lug nut covers to complete the look. Excited to learn and get ideas for the vehicle.
How y’all doing? Took delivery of my atomic silver/onyx OT+ in Dec. Been reading this site for a few months looking for ideas and what does/doesn’t work. It has been a wealth of information.
Planning on installing a Westcott Designs 4-hole 1/2” front spacer to level the GX out some and mount 275 70/18 Cooper Rugged Trek’s on the OEM wheels. It will see some overland type mountain trails. I also have a 2012 Jeep Rubi (2 door, 2.5” AEV suspension lift on 35’s) that sees more difficult off roading.
Anyone have any experience with the WD 4-hole 1/2” leveling kit?

Hey all. It was tough but, I had to let Betty White go she was a great 4runner and took us many places without fail. The problem was every time we started up a mountain climb she started screaming at the top of her lungs, " It's to much weight to pull up this mountain". She wanted to head back to the barn. Well that wasn't the deal after getting her a tune and all the upgrades. We battled over the supercharge upgrade but she could NOT pitch in. SO, say hello to Bertha White. She's got the power plant to make it up the hills without complaint.
The upgrades have already started. I added a switchpro 9100. Had to customized the Jeep mount since there is nothing out there for the GX550. Not great, hopefully I can switch it out soon to something that fits better. The GX came with Vossen 22" (mall hopper wheels) I'm working on getting them changed out to something more off road, matching the 4runner and camper. 18" wheel and 305/70R/18 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T's. The Westcott roof rack and ditch light brackets have been ordered. Much more to come. Westcott rock sliders, Dissent front and rear bumpers, etc. I'm going to see how the stock suspension is for a while before any upgrades.
So far, I'm very impressed with GX550. Can't wait to pull the camper on some trails where most won't go. Glad to part of the GX550 family.

It was tough to get a new one here in AZ. They all wanted $10,000 for paint protection or $29,000 for this and that. Bought a 25 eminent white from lifted trucks. Probably cost more than I should have spent but didn't pay the dealers bull shit. Congrats, this is an awesome truck.
