🛠️ What did you do in your GX today?

@Hendo66 - How is the wind noise? Can you post a couple more pics? My wife doesn't like the full roof covered by a rack, so the Peak 4x4 might be an option to keep us both happy. We have the LP with big glass roof and don't want to cover the whole roof. Let's see what you did. Looks good up close.

A little off-topic, but had my oil changed yesterday at the local Toyota dealer. I have about 11,500 miles or so. Did a tire rotation of the Nitto Grappler G3 too.
While there a huge delivery truck pulled up and offloaded some new Toyotas. One of them is a white Land Cruiser. I was fairly shocked when I looked at the window sticker on it here it is.

Had PPF put on front end: grill, hood, lenses, fenders, A pillars, sills, etc. Swapped out OEM AT lll's with 265 70/18 BFG KO3's. Just discovered that there is no hatch light. Ridiculous. My 4Runner has 2. Hatch light(s) next.

Drove up Owl Creek pass road near Ridgway CO the final two miles or so were snow blocked still with several truck tracks dead ending at a snow drift. Came back down after a reverse and 180 turn. Can you post a video here from your phone or only snapshots? the san juans were clear view from that altitude.

Small county, slow updates and not always accurate. 😊

Were you heading to Silver Jack?

We owned a log cabin on Cty RD 858 for 30 years so we were going over to check it out and we are very familiar with the road. All of the road inside of the national forest is not plowed at all. We lived in Gunnison county area where the roads were plowed to the north and HWY 50.k I guess Ouray county would only plow the road on the lower area where ranchers would need it.???

New wheels and tires for me. Not ready for any lift yet and wanted to maintain a smooth ride.

I downsized to a 17” wheel and wanted a more flush look. These Motegis are 17x8.5 with an 18 offset. Best of alll, these are less than 24lbs per wheel.

Tires are 285/70/17 Toyo AT3s.

The looks are hard to really capture in pics but very happy with the overall look. Gives it a nice OEM+ appearance.

Stuck on the StickerFab seatbelt protection for the B-pillar areas. Easy peasy with just a little help from the heat gun.
